Matte with 40-75hz AMD Free-Sync.

LG 24MP88HV

LG 24MP59G

Review by Rtings

The LG uses a matte 1080p IPS panel with a perceived black depth glossy black bezel, an inner black bezel, Displayport, HDMI, VGA, 40-75hz AMD free-Sync (DP & HDMI), 75hz back-light strobing (Motion Blur Reduction or MBR) and 3.5mm Audio Out.  It suffers from an obvious preset red tint, but has failry accurate gamma and average sRGB color space coverage which peaks at 93%.

LG 24MK600

Measurements and Review by Belgium Hardware

Matte 1080p IPS with AMD Free-Sync (48-75hz range), a perceived black depth decreasing fake bezel/frame-less black bezel, 2x HDMI, 1x VGA and a 3.5mm Audio Out.  The 600 is significantly more accurate than the 430 which has very low preset gamma (1.8 average), which causes colors and shades to look very dull and washed out.

LG 24CK550W-3A

Review by PRAD

Fully adjustable matte 1920x1080 IPS with a perceived black depth increasing matte grey bezel,  Displayport, HDMI, 4x USB 2.0 (side, 2x USB 3.0 (back() and 3.5mm Audio Out & Microphone In (side).  The LG is fairly accurate, but can't fully cover the sRGB color space (90% out of the box versus 95% for the best 24-25" IPS/PLS) and has slightly too low preset gamma.

Philips

Philips 245C5QHAB

Matte and not overclock-able; Picture. I reviewed it but was too lazy to create a review. It has essentially perfect preset color accuracy, negligible input lag and competitive pixel response times when the overdrive is set to the second Smart Response (Fast) setting. My measurements are compared to multiple other 24-25" 1080p IPS/PLS in my HP 24 Envy Review here.

Philips 245C7QJSB

Measurements and Review by Belgium Hardware
Review by PC Lab PL

Accurate, semi-wide gamut 1920x1080 PLS with Displayport, HDMI and VGA.  The 245C7 over-saturates SRGB color by 30%, and the unit Belgium Hardware tested came with significantly less accurate RGB level accuracy compared to the unit PC Lab PL tested.

Philips 246E74QDSW

Matte.  Review by Hardware Info and MeasurementsReview by Playwares

The 246E7QDSW has great preset color accuracy, excellent gaming performance, is competitively priced and has an improved fake frame-less casing with a thinner, but still perceived black depth decreasing inner black bezel.

Philips 257E7QDSB

Matte. Review by Playwares. Increase the overdrive, or change the Smart Response setting from Off to Fast to speed up the pixel response times without overshoot ghosting.

Philips 241B8QJEB

Review By PC Lab PL

Matte, fully adjustable 1920x1080 IPS with Displayport, HDMI, 2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, VGA and 3.5mm Audio In & Out.  The 241B8QJEB is very accurate and offers excellent 60hz gaming performance (negligible input lag and fast pixel response times without obvious overshoot ghosting) for a 60hz non-TN panel, but like most 21.5-25" IPS/PLS, can not, but comes very close to fully covering the sRGB color space, though it only slightly under-saturates blues and greens by a few percent.

Philips 241E1

Review by Playwares

Matte 24" 1920x1080 IPS panel with 75hz, AMD Free-Sync, Displayport, HDMI, VGA, and 3.5mm Audio Out.  The 241E1 is quite accurate, but can not fully cover the SDR (HDTV/REC 709 and sRGB) color space like many other 23-24" IPS panels.  The 241E1 has negligible input lag (2-3ms measured by the SMT Tool), but slow pixel response times unless the Smart Response setting is switched from Off to Low.

Samsung

Samsung S24D390HL

Matte. Review by IBXTReview by PC Monitors.

Samsung S24D590L

Matte; overclocks to 72hz.  Review by NCX (Archive Version; slow loading).

Samsung S24E390HL

Matte AD-PLS which can be overclocked to 75hz. Review by PC Monitors.

Samsung S24F350H

Matte with AMD Free-Sync (48-60hz range). Review by Hardware Info & Measurements by Hardware Info.

The S24F350H seems to be pretty much the same as previous AD-PLS panels can only over up to 93% of the sRGB color space, and it still uses a perceived black depth ruining glossy black bezel; gaming performance (input lag and pixel response times) are excellent and on par with the best 1080p 60hz monitors.

Samsung S24E650PL

Review By PC Lab PL

Matte, fully adjustable 1920x1080 Samsung PLS with Displayport, HDMI, 2x USB 2.0, VGA and 3.5mm Audio In & Out.  The S24E650PL is very accurate and offers excellent 60hz gaming performance (negligible input lag and fast pixel response times without obvious overshoot ghosting) for a 60hz non-TN panel, and unlike most 21.5-24" monitors, can fully cover the sRGB color space which allows it to provide top tier image quality comparable to high end monitors.

ViewSonic

Viewsonic VP2468

Viewsonic VP2448

Matte with height adjustable stand and USB ports.

Review by Les Numeriques

ViewSonic VP2458

Review by PRAD

Fully adjustable matte 1920x1080 LG AH-IPS with Displayport, HDMI, VGA and 2x USB 3.0.  The VP2458 can cover 96% of the sRGB color space out of the box as well as has very accurate preset colors and shades (impressive nearly linear 2.2 gamma).  The overdrive (Response Time setting in the menu) can be set to the Ultra Fast setting to enjoy faster pixel response times without over-shoot ghosting, but PRAD measured a 26.8ms signal delay with an oscilloscope which is very high since they usually measure less than 10ms for non-professionally oriented monitors.  The very high input lake prevents the VP2458 from being a good for 60hz gaming like most of its competitors, but it's still suitable for casual gaming and has great image quality for all uses.  Lastly, while not noted in the review by PRAD, I suspect that the VP2458 suffers from <1mm thick vertical black lines which span from top to bottom of the panel when viewing some light colors such as light blue and orange since the rest of the four sided fake bezel or frame-less LG AH-IPS panels do.
