Playstation 3 & 4 & Pro

The Monoprice scales 1280x720 and 1920x1080 without issue, and it does lack an HDMI Black Level setting which requires one to change the Playsation consoles RGB Range setting to Full to prevent the monitor from being washed out.

Settings & ICC Profile

DSC_0798 by Deepinthesky Teslastorm, on Flickr

These are the only settings which need to be changed if one wants to use my calibrated settings.

Brightness 37
Red 126
Green 118
Blue 119

Monoprice 274K ICC Profile

Use Color Sustainer to install ICC profiles

If not going to use my settings, set the Temperature in the Color Menu to Warm and Brightness to 30 (140cdm/2) if using a 2600 lumen light as a ceiling light or light which shines on the monitor. I recommend using a 5000 lumen bias light (light placed behind the display) for 140cdm/2 brightness, or to use less than 100cdm/2 display brightness with a 2600 lumen light as a bias light.

? Lacks Height Adjustable Stand
? No HDMI Black Level Setting
? Monoprice Warranty?
? Can't Overclock
? Tiny Default 4K Text Size

The Monoprice RTD2795 or 274K is an excellent 27" 3840x2160 or 4K monitor. Its main performance related issue is the strong preset green tint, but it can be reduced by changing the Temperature setting in the Color Menu to Warm. The rest of its flaws (listed above and throughout the review) may be considered as nit picking, or are a result of user error and/or improper use such as wrong display placement (view from same height as a TN panel resulting in obvious off angle glow) and cranking the brightness in a dimly lit or light-less room.

The default 4K text size at 27" is indeed tiny, but I have no problem using 150-200% scaling for web pages. I keep the Windows Scaling set to the default of 100%
