Acer X27

Added the Review by PC Mag and the Review by Trusted Reviews to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 4-5K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

Matte 4K AHVA panel with 98hz (8 Bit +FRC / 10 bit HDR 4:4:4), Nvidia G-Sync, height adjustable stand, 4x USB 3.0, local dimming and true HDR color.  Proper color (YcBcr 4:4:4) is only supported up to 98hz.  Image quality is degraded at 99-144hz.

Lenovo L27m-28

Added the Revivew by Sweclockers to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1080p IPS/PLS Monitors buying guide.

Matte 1080p IPS with 48-75hz AMD Free-Sync, HDMI 1.4, USB-C, 2x USB 3.1, 3.5mm Audio Out and VGA and good preset color accuracy marred by a slightly skewed gamma curve in the Web Pic mode, and a stronger blue tint, but better gamma when switched to the Text Mode.

Adding more soon.

LG 24MK430

Measurements and Review by Belgium Hardware

Matte 1080p IPS with AMD Free-Sync (48-75hz range), a perceived black depth increasing dark matte grey bezel, 1x HDMI, 1x VGA and a 3.5mm Audio Out.  It has very low preset gamma (1.8 average), which causes colors and shades to look very dull and washed out.

Added the Measurements and Review by Belgium Hardware to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 24-25" 1080p IPS/PLS Monitors buying guide.

Matte 1080p IPS with AMD Free-Sync (48-75hz range), a perceived black depth decreasing fake bezel/frame-less black bezel, 2x HDMI, 1x VGA and a 3.5mm Audio Out.  The 600 is significantly more accurate than the 430 which has very low preset gamma (1.8 average), which causes colors and shades to look very dull and washed out.

Acer Nitro XV273K

Added the Review by TFT Central and to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 4-5K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

The Acer XV273K has an accurate 144hz (achievable only when connected with 2x Displayport cables) 3840x2160 or 4K matte wide gamut AUO HAVA panel which can cover 97% of the DCI-P3 color space, and can fully cover the sRGB color space to prevent over-saturation when the sRGB mode is available.  It has a fully adjustable stand, a monitor hood, 2x Displayport, 2x HDMI 2.0,4x USB 3.0 and a 3.5mm Audio Out.

AOC C24G1

Added the Review by Trusted Reviews to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1080p Monitors buying guide.

The C24G1's (1500 R curve) preset color accuracy is decent, but can be improves significantly by selecting the sRGB mode, but it locks the brightness controls and is very bright (220cmd/2). The C27G1 (1800 R curve) is significantly more accurate out of the box than the C24G1, and its sRGB mode has a preset red dominance instead of the slight out-of-the-box blue dominance, locks the brightness controls, is very bright (242cdm/2) and drops the contrast to a pathetic 485:1. The CG241 has 3.-35K contrast while the C27G1 has 5,000:1.

Both monitors can be considered delay free (<4ms Leo Bodnar Device top screen measurements by Hardware Info and SMT Tool measurements by PC Monitors), and have decent overdrive without strong overshoot, but suffer from the typical dark color and shade transition smearing*.

IMO the overdrive of these panels is decent good enough, especially when considering the image quality downsides of faster TN panels.

Due to the pixel layout of these panels text is a bit blurrier; PCM mentions this here:

Added the Review by PC Lab PL to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1440p Monitors buying guide.

Curved semi-wide gamut (22% over-saturation or 122% sRGB) matte 144hz VA panel with AMD Free-Sync (48-144hz range) 2x USB 3.0, Displayport, 2x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, a height adjustable stand and a fake frame-less casing with a perceived black depth reducing inner black bezel.  It's pretty accurate aside from the gamma which is a bit high in the 0-10% white range resulting in a bit of black crush.  The Pro mode is the most accurate color preset.

Monoprice 33822 QHD

Added the Review by Tom's Hardware to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1440p Monitors buying guide.

Curved matte 2560x1440 144hz (48-144hz AMD Free-Sync range) VA panel with a height adjustable stand, 2x Displayport, 2x HDMI 2.0 and 3.5mm Audio Out.  It uses a curved, semi-wide gamut panel with minor over and under-saturation, as well as suffers from a preset blue tint and has slightly too low preset gamma resulting in slightly washed out colors and shades, but still still preset color accuracy for a budget panel.

Samsung C27HG70

Added the Review by PC Mag to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1440p Monitors buying guide.

Curved matte 2560x1440 144hz (48-144hz AMD Free-Sync range; limited to 100hz over HDMI) VA panel with a height adjustable stand, Displayport, 2x HDMI 2.0 and 3.5mm Audio In & Out, and 2x USB 3.0.  The Samsung uses a very accurate semi-wide gamut S-VA panel also offers decent HDR color space coverage (95% DCI-P3), and it comes with a fully adjustable stand and perceived black depth increasing dark matte grey bezel.  Setting the Response Time to Faster and Fastest actives back-light strobing or blur reductio which reduces motion blur, but may cause some people to suffer from health issues like headaches and/or eyestrain.  It has slower pixel response times than the 1080p C2xFG73 monitors, but they suffer from green and purple overshoot ghosting.

Samsung U32J590

Added the Review by Rtings to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 32" 4K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

The Samsung uses a fairly accurate matte semi-wide gamut 32" 4K VA panel with AMD Free-Sync (40-60hz range supported by Displayport & HDMI), but isn't as accurate as the more expensive BenQ EW3270U, LG 32UD598 (non-wide gamut) and Philips  328P6VUBREB (28ms delay vs competitors low/negligible lag), and the Samsung uses LED PWM Dimming or Flicker when the brightness is set below 50%, as well as lacks a properly functioning sRGB mode to prevent wide gamut color over-saturation.  It has Displayport, HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0 (4K @60hz + Free-Sync support), and 3.5mm Audio Out.

The AOC uses a 240hz matte 6 bit +FRC AUO TN panel with AMD Free-Sync, suffers from the typical contrast and gamma lottery (TFT Central set the gamma from Mode 1 to 3), but has accurate preset RGB levels, especially the unit tested by Belgium Hardware. The AOC has very fast pixel response times with zero overshoot ghosting when the overdrive setting is set to Medium.

The AOC has mediocre image quality due to its low preset gamma and sRGB color space coverage (89% out of the box and 91.1% after calibration).

Fairly accurate matte 4K LG AH-IPS with height adjustable stand, Displayport, HDMI 2.0, mini Displayport, 4x USB 3.0 ports and 3.5mm Audio Out.  It's not as accurate as well as more reflective than the P2715Q which also has a perceived black depth increasing dark matte grey bezel versus the U2718Q's fake frame-less casing's black bezel. The Dell uses LED PWM Dimming or Flicker which decreases motion clarity and may cause some people to suffer from health issues such as eyestrain and/or headaches.

Quote from: Rtings
The Dell U2718Q uses a dual PWM flicker to dim the backlight. There is a 10 kHz flicker that is always present, but this flicker is not visible at all. There is a secondary flicker at 650 Hz, but due to the secondary wave the backlight does not completely shut off

Acer BM320

Added the Review by =DEAD= to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 32" 4K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

The Acer uses a 3840x2160 matte wide gamut AUO AHVA panel with color/uniformity compensation, Displayport, mini-Display-Port, Dual-Link DVI (3840x2160 @30hz) HDMI 2.0, 4x USB 3.0, 3.5mm Audio In & Out and a fully adjustable stand.  Since it uses a wide gamut panel the Acer's colors are vastly over-saturated for SDR (HDTV/REC 709 & sRGB) content, but has multiple color space emulation modes such as the Adobe RGB, sRGB and REC 709 (HDTV/ movies), however, severe and non-reduce-able black crush is introduced when the color space emulation modes are selected, which makes them useless and leaves on at the mercy of their operating system and/or programs ability to use color management to prevent vast over-saturation.

Standard gamut 3840x2160 LG AH-IPS with AMD Free-Sync (40-60hz) Displayport, HDMI 2.0, Thunderbolt, 2x USB 3.0, USB-C, and a fully adjustable stand.  The preset color accuracy is bad for the price, it doesn't support HDR since it lacks a wide gamut panel (yes it can take the signal but the panel is not wide gamut), and it uses motion clarity ruining 240hz LED PWM Dimming or flicker, which makes it a joke.

Fully adjust-able matte 1920x1080 144hz AUO AHVA panel with AMD Free-Sync (48-144hz), Displayport, Dual-Link DVI (120hz), HDMI, 3.5mm Audio In & Out.  The Asus can fully covers, as well as slightly over-saturates colors of the HDTV/REC 709 and sRGB (SDR) color spaces, and has accurate color presets overall (default=Game Visual MOBA), which can be marginally improved by setting the Low Blue Light Filter to Level 1.  As expected, the Asus has very fast pixel response times with minimal overshoot, even when using the default overdrive (Trace Free 60) setting, and has negligible input lag (4-5ms measured by Playwares with the SMT Tool 2.0 vs a CRT).

BenQ GW2480

Added the Review by Les Numeriques to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 24-25" 1080p IPS/PLS Monitors

Matte 1920x1080 IPS with Displayport, HDMI, VGA and 3.5mm Audio In & Out.  It's fairly accurate but has low sRGB color space coverage compared to the best options, and has high preset gamma which averages around 2.4, but can be improved by changing the Gamma.

Dell S2719DM

Added the Review by Les Numeriques to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1080p IPS/PLS Monitors

Matte 1920x1080 fake* four-sided border/frame-less IPS with AMD Free-Sync (48-75hz range), 2x HDMI, 3.5mm Audi Out and fairly accurate color presets hampered by the skewed and slightly too high gamma curve.

*Four sided border/frame-less monitors have a thin inner black bezel which reduces the perceived black depth.

HP DreamColor Z27x G2 Studio (2NJ08AT)

Added the Measurements by Belgium Hardware to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1440p AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

Fully adjustable matte 2560x1440 wide gamut IPS with Displayport, 2x HDMI, USB-C, 3.5mm Audio Out, 4x USB 3.0 and USB-C.  The HP suffers from a slight preset green tint, has nearly 2.4 average gamma and high input lag (35.7ms Leo Bodnar device measurements).

Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD

Added the Measurements and Review by Belgium Hardware, and the  Review by IT Hardware PL to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1440p Monitors, and Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1440p AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guides.

Fully adjustable matte 144hz 2560x1440 Innolux IPS with AMD Free-Sync (48-144hz range) Displayport, 2x HDMI, 2x USB 3.0 and 3.5mm Audio In & Out.  The Gigabyte has very accurate preset color accuracy, but has a very minor preset pink tint, and slightly slower pixel response (some transitions are 2-3ms slower) times, and significantly more overshoot ghosting (20%) than 144-165hz 1440 AUO AHVA panels (marketed as IPS) Belgium Hardware tested such as the Acer XB271HU (15%), Asus MG279Q (5%), and Asus PG279Q (3%).

The Gigabyte over-saturates SDR (130% or 30% over-saturation of the HDTV/REC709 and sRGB color spaces used by non-HDR content) colors by default since it has a semi-wide gamut panel with DCI-P3 (HDR) color space coverage (>92%) and capability (>400cdm/2 brightness), but it does have a good sRGB mode to prevent over-saturation.

Viewsonic XG240R

Added the Review by PC Monitors to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1080p Monitors buying guides.

Fully adjust-able matte 144hz 1920x1080 AUO TN panel with AMD Free-Sync (48-144hz from all inputs), Displayport, 2x HDMI (120hz), 2x USB 3.0 and 3.5mm Audio Out.  The Viewsonic has accurate 60hz image quality, but suffers from a significant gamma drop (60hz 2.3 to 1.9 at 144hz), and loss of color and shade accuracy and vibrancy when set to 144hz.  Setting the Gamma to 2.6, and setting the Gaming Settings to Custom 1 and 2 (best) improve the 144hz gamma.  The Viewsonic has negligible input lag, balanced overdrive (fast pixel response times and minimal overshoot) with the Faster Response Time OD setting, but has a perceived black depth decreasing matte black bezel versus the XG2401's perceived black depth increasing matte grey bezel.

Asus PG279QZ

Added the Review by Rtings to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1440p Monitors, and Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1440p AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guides.

The Asus PG279QZ is an updated version of the PG279Q (2015), released in 2019, and with zero improvements.  The PG279QZ is fully adjustable, has Displayport (30-165hz Nvidia G-Sync), HDMI, G-Sync (Nvidia GPU required), ULMB (120hz back-light strobing), 2x USB 3.0 and the same fake-thin matte grey casing with an inner black bezel which decreases the perceived black depth.  The PG279QZ Rtings tested has excellent all-around performance, however, without more reviews available, it's impossible to know if it is consistently accurate unlike the PG279Q.

Added the Review by Rtings to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1440p Monitors.

Fully adjustable 155hz (overclocked; 144hz native) 2560x1440 AUO TN panel with a grainy and sparkle free matte coating, Displayport, HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0, 4x USB 3.0, and 2x 3.5mm Audio Out, of which one is amplified or has volume control while the other has fixed volume output for speakers.  The Dell has excellent preset color accuracy aside from the gamma which may be too low, resulting and dull and washed out image quality.
