Separated and nearly restored the best 1440p 144-165hz portion of my Best 144-240hz 2.0 buying guide from wecravegamestoo which was lost, but has become available fully from The Archive.org/The Way Back Machine along with my Monoprice RTD2795 (27" 4K AHVA) review which I will restore.

Monoprice 27" 4K RTD2795

Monprice advertises this matte 27" 4K monitor as a glass IPS panel with AMD Free-Sync (40-60hz range; not tested: I own a 980 ti); it uses a matte coated AHVA panel made by AUO:

Added my restored Monoprice Review by NCX to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 4-5K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

Replaced my SD card reader (broke my Galileo thermometer on the weekend which spilled what smells like paint thinner on mine) today so I can now take pictures of the S2719DGF for my review.

AOC 27E1

Added the Review by Playwares to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1080p IPS/PLS Monitors buying guide.

Matte 1080p IPS with accurate color presets and perceived black depth increasing matte grey bezel, but only 88% REC 709/sRGB color space coverage.  HDMI and VGA only.

Asus PA27AC

Matte fake frame-less 8 bit +FRC (unsure if AHVA/IPS/PLS despite marketing as IPS) panel with accurate color presets, AMD Free-Sync, 75hz and hardware calibration (requires colorimeter like the X-Rite i1 display pro) and 14 bit 3D LUT.  The hardware calibration feature can not provide as accurate results as free calibration software such as dispcalgui.  Reduce the Trace Free setting from 60 to 40 to reduce the obvious overshoot ghosting, and 20 to get rid of the overshoot entirely.

Added the PA27AC to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1440p AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

iiyama XUB2495WSU

24.1" 1920x1200 matte IPS panel with accurate preset color accuracy, a fake frame-less casing and perceived black depth reducing inner black bezel.

Measurements by Belgium Hardware added to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 1920x1200 IPS/PLS Monitors buying guide.

LG 27UD69

27" 4K matte IPS panel with accurate preset color presets, a fake frame-less casing and perceived black depth reducing inner black bezel.

Added the LG 27UD69 Review by Pro Hardver to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 4-5K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

Philips 272B7QUPBEB

The Philips uses a fake frame-less (all frame-less monitors have perceived black depth ruining inner black bezels) matte 27" 2560x1440 LG IPS panel with a height adjustable stand, USB-C, 2x USB 3.0, 1100:1 contrast, accurate color presets, negligible input lag and excellent overdrive when the Faster Smart Response setting is used.

Add the 272B7QUPBEB Review by PRAD to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1440p AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

AOC C24G1 & C27G1

Added the AOC C24G1 Review by PC Monitors and the  AOC C27G1 Review by Playwares to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1080p Monitors.

The C24G1's (1500 R curve) preset color accuracy is decent, but can be improves significantly by selecting the sRGB mode, but it locks the brightness controls and is very bright (220cmd/2). The C27G1 (1800 R curve) is significantly more accurate out of the box than the C24G1, and its sRGB mode has a preset red dominance instead of the slight out-of-the-box blue dominance, locks the brightness controls, is very bright (242cdm/2) and drops the contrast to a pathetic 485:1. The C24G1 has 3.-35K contrast while the C27G1 has 5,000:1.

Both monitors can be considered delay free (<4ms Leo Bodnar Device top screen measurements by Hardware Info and SMT Tool measurements by PC Monitors), and have decent overdrive without strong overshoot, but suffer from the typical dark color and shade transition smearing*.

IMO the overdrive of these panels is decent good enough, especially when considering the image quality downsides of faster TN panels.

Due to the pixel layout of these panels text is a bit blurrier; PCM mentions this here:

https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/aoc-c24g1/#Calibration

More detailed analysis in IBXT's C24FG70 review:

https://www.ixbt.com/monitor/samsung-c24fg70fqi.shtml#micro

The CG271 seems like the best 1080p 144hz VA panel with Free-Sync.

AOC CQ32G1

Added the Measurements by Belgium Hardware to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz1440p Monitors buying guide.

Matte curved 2560x1440 144hz VA panel with Displayport, Dual-Link DVI and HDMI.

Asus PG27UQ

Matte 4K AHVA panel with 98hz (8 Bit +FRC / 10 bit HDR 4:4:4), Nvidia G-Sync, height adjustable stand, 4x USB 3.0, local dimming and true HDR color.  Proper color (YcBcr 4:4:4) is only supported up to 98hz.  Image quality is degraded at 99-144hz.

Added the PC Lab PL and Tom's Hardware Review to my Asus PG27UQ reviews: to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 4-5K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

BenQ BL2480T

Matte 1920x1080 IPS with Displayport, HDMI, VGA and a height adjustable stand.  It's fairly accurate but has high preset gamma which averages around 2.4 and can only cover up to 92% of the sRGB color space which is a bit below average for a budget 1080p IPS/PLS monitor.

Added the BenQ BL2480T Review by PRAD to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 24-25" 1080p IPS/PLS Monitors.

HP 22w

Added the Review by Les Numeriques to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 21.5-23" IPS/PLS Monitors buying guide.

Matte 1080p IPS with fairly accurate color presets (sRGB color space coverage amount not listed), average contrast (800:1), a fake frame-less casing with a perceived black depth reducing inner black bezel, HDMI and VGA.

Eizo EV3285

Added the Review and Measurements by Belgium Hardware to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 32" 4K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

Matte 32" 4K IPS panel with outstanding preset color accuracy, >1300:1 contrast, a fake frame-less casing with a perceived black depth reducing inner black bezel, a height adjustable stand, Displayport, 2x HDMI 2.0, USB-C and 2x USB 3.0.  Like most Eizo monitors the EV3285 has high, or nearly 2 frames (33ms) of input lag (30ms) delay (top screen Leo Bodnar measurement).

AOC AG271QG

Added the Review by Trusted Reviews to my

The AOC AGON AG271QG uses a 27" 2560x1440 essentially grain free matte AUO AHVA panel with 30-165hz Nvidia G-Sync range.  It has a fully adjustable stand, lots of inputs and a matte black bezel.  The AG271QG is the best of the AHVA panels (marketed as IPS) since it has better resolution scaling (vs Asus; important for console use and 1080p) and two different gamma settings to combat the potentially low preset gamma all 144hz 1440p G-Sync AHVA (marketed as IPS) panels can come with, as well as has 2 useful overdrive settings and better build quality than the Asus which has a fake-thin casing with a perceived black depth reducing inner black bezel.  The AOC AG271QC reviewed by PRAD came with low preset gamma while the rest of the tested units are great.

AOC G2790

Added the Review by Playwares to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1080p Monitors.

Matte 144hz (Displayport & HDMI) AUO TN panel with AMD Free-Sync, Displayport, HDMI x2, VGA, 3.5mm Audio In & Out, 3x UXB 3.0 and a height adjustable stand.  It's pretty accurate, has gamma settings to improve the preset gamma (Gamma 3), and can nearly fully cover the HDTV/REC 709 and sRGB color space.

AOC PDS241

Added the Review by Trusted Reviews to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 24-25" 1080p IPS/PLS Monitors buying guide.

Matte 1080p IPS with extended color gamut, 1x HDMI, lack of VESA support and no menu.

Asus PG27UQ

Added the Review by Trusted Reviews to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 4-5K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

Matte 4K AHVA panel with 98hz (8 Bit +FRC / 10 bit HDR 4:4:4), Nvidia G-Sync, height adjustable stand, 4x USB 3.0, local dimming and true HDR color.  Proper color (YcBcr 4:4:4) is only supported up to 98hz.  Image quality is degraded at 99-144hz.

Asus VG278Q

Added the Review by Playwares to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1080p Monitors.

ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) is back-light strobing supported at 80-120hz.

Matte 144hz (Displayport & HDMI) AUO TN panel with AMD Free-Sync, Displayport, HDMI x, VGA, 3.5mm Audio In & Out, and a height adjustable stand.  It has high preset gamma (>2.4) which causes black crush (detail loss in dark scenes) and can't fully cover the sRGB color space, but comes close to doing so.

BenQ EX3203R

Added the Review by Trusted Reviews to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz1440p Monitors buying guide.

Matte curved 120-144hz 2560x1440 VA panel with AMD Free-Sync and fake HDR which causes problems.  It supports 144hz over Displayport with AMD cards, 120hz with Nvidia cards and 100hz over HDMI for both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards.  It suffers from more ghosting (dark color smearing) at 144hz when using Displayport with Nvidia graphics cards.

Samsung C27HG70

Added the Review by Trusted Reviews to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz1440p Monitors buying guide.

ViewSonic XG3240C

Matte curved 144hz 2560x1440 wide gamut VA panel with AMD Free-Sync and >89% HDR color space coverage and accurate color presets, but no sRGB or REC 709 mode to prevent vast over-saturation of non-HDR content.

Added the Review by Trusted Reviews to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz1440p Monitors buying guide.

Quote from: Trusted Reviews
when it comes to the oversaturated colours, this is largely quite subtle but every now and then colours look just a bit brighter than they really should. In particular, there can be a red blotchiness to caucasian skin that doesn’t look natural and green colour such as foliage in bright sunshine can look a little too vibrant. To be clear, this by no means ruins the overall image quality of the display but for sticklers for colour accuracy, it does knock this display down a peg or two, and means it’s not really suitable for content creation.

Lenovo T2224dA

Added the Review by Prohardver to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 1080p IPS/PLS monitors buying guide.

Matte 1080p IPS with a perceived black depth increasing matte grey bezel, Displayport, VGA, a 22ms delay, accurate sRGB preset mode which is limited to 86.3% sRGB color space coverage which is below average result for budget IPS/PLS panels, but normal for 21.5-23" panels.

LG 24MP59G

Added the Review by Rtings to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 24-25" 1080p IPS/PLS Monitors buying guide.

The LG uses a matte 1080p IPS panel with a perceived black depth glossy black bezel, an inner black bezel, Displayport, HDMI, VGA, 40-75hz AMD free-Sync (DP & HDMI), 75hz back-light strobing (Motion Blur Reduction or MBR) and 3.5mm Audio Out.  It suffers from an obvious preset red tint, but has failry accurate gamma and average sRGB color space coverage which peaks at 93%.

MSI Optix MAG271CR

Added the Review by Global HD Russia and the Review by Les Numeriques to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1080p Monitors.

Curved matte 144hz (Displayport & HDMI) AUO TN panel with AMD Free-Sync (48-144hz range), Displayport, HDMI x2, 3.5mm Audio Out, 2x UXB 2.0, a height adjustable stand and a fake frame-less casing with a perceived black depth decreasing inner black bezel.  It's pretty accurate, but has a preset blue tint and a wide gamut VA panel which over-saturates colors b by >40% unless the Cinema or Custom presets are used, but the Strategy mode provides the most accurate RGB color and gray scale balance.

Acer X27

Added the Review by Dmitry Vasiliev to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 4-5K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

Matte 4K AHVA panel with 98hz (8 Bit +FRC / 10 bit HDR 4:4:4), Nvidia G-Sync, height adjustable stand, 4x USB 3.0, local dimming and true HDR color.  Proper color (YcBcr 4:4:4) is only supported up to 98hz.  Image quality is degraded at 99-144hz.

BenQ Zowie XL2456

Added the XL2456 Review by PC Labl PL to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 240hz TN Panels buying guide.

Matte 240hz TN panel with back-light strobing.  The XL2456 has the worst preset color accuracy I've seen in a review aside from the first 2560x1440 AH-IPS panel with Plasma Deposition Coating from Monoprice in 2013 thanks to the BenQ's FPS modes very low gamma (<1.6) and contrast (300:1). Fortunately the BenQ can be improved by switching from the abysmal preset FPS Mode to the Standard Mode to provide decent results for a TN panel, as is the case for all of their gaming monitors. Choose between some overshoot ghosting (preset AMA High overdrive setting) or slow pixel response times versus competitors (AMA Off), this also sadly applies to most BenQ gaming monitors.

Matte curved 2560x1440 144hz VA panel with a Displayport, 2x HDMI and a height adjustable stand.  It's far less accurate and has half the contrast ratio (2,500:1) as the 1080p C32G1 (5,000:1) which also has slightly faster pixel response times or less ghosting the the best overdrive/response time setting (Medium) is used.

Philips 276E9

Matte 1080p IPS with 48-75hz AMD Free-Sync, Displayport, HDMI 1.4, 3.5mm Audio Out and VGA and nearly perfect preset color accuracy.

AOC C27G1

Added the Review by Les Numeriques (low preset gamma; set gamma to 2) to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144hz 1080p Monitors buying guide.

Acer Nitro VG270UP

Added the Review by Alexander Gryzhin (=DEAD=) to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144-165hz 1440p Monitors and Best Reviewed Flicker Free 27" 1440p AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guides.

The Acer uses  a fake bezel/frame-less (it has an inner black bezel which reduces the perceived black depth versus a grey bezel) 144hz AUO M270DAN02 AHVA panel (advertised as IPS) with Displayport (Free-Sync + 40-144hz range), HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0 (Free-Sync + 40-144hz range) and 3.5mm Audio Out.  It supports AMD Free-Sync (40-144hz range), 120hz back-light strobing (named VRB=Visual Boost Response,  can completely cover the sRGB color space without significant over or under-saturation, and has quite accurate color presets (sRGB mode is a bit better and reduces the brightness to 153cdm/2), above average contrast (1100:1 vs 800:1 for AHVA/IPS/PLS and TN), and the typical balanced preset Acer overdrive (OD: Normal) with very fast pixel response times and minimal to no overshoot ghosting.  =DEAD= did not measure the input lag, but I'd be shocked if the VG270UP can not be considered delay free (<5ms delay) since almost all 144hz AHVA panels are.

ACER AG322QC4

Added the Review by TFT Central  to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144-165hz 1440p Monitors buying guides.

Matte curved 2560x1440 144hz semi-wide gamut VA panel with a height adjustable stand, 2x Displayport, HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.0 and 3.5mm Audio Out.  The AOC is fairly accurate (full sRGB color space coverage with >20% over-saturation), has average contrast for a  VA panel (2,200-2700:1; 2275:1 after TFT Central's calibration), negligible input lag and decent overdrive (for a VA panel) at 144hz when the Strong overdrive setting is enabled which without adding obvious overshoot ghosting, drastically reduces the pixel response times which greatly reduces VA smearing and streaking.  The AOC is a very poor choice for 60hz console gaming since it has  slow pixel response times at 60hz regardless of which overdrive setting is selected, and either suffers from very obvious VA smearing and streaking, or obvious overshoot ghosting if the overdrive setting is turned up.

Matte 4K VA panel with an extended color space and faux HDR support.  The BenQ has a good sRGB mode which prevents over-saturation and does not significantly under-saturate colors like some 4K 32" VA panel using competitors.

Eizo EV3285

Added the Review by PRAD to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 32" 4K AHVA/IPS/PLS buying guide.

Matte 32" 4K IPS panel with outstanding preset color accuracy, >1300:1 contrast, a fake frame-less casing with a perceived black depth reducing inner black bezel, a height adjustable stand, Displayport, 2x HDMI 2.0, USB-C and 2x USB 3.0.  Like most Eizo monitors the EV3285 has high, or nearly 2 frames (33ms) of input lag (30ms) delay (top screen Leo Bodnar measurement).

Very accurate matte 3840x2160 AH-IPS in a fake frame-less casing with a fully adjustable stand, Displayport, mini-Displayport, HDMI 2.0, 4x USB 3.0 Downstream, 2x USB 3.0 Upstream and a 3.5mm Audio Out. It has an HDR emulation mode, but lacks a wide gamut panel required to properly support HDR.

Fairly accurate (for a budget monitor) matte 1080p IPS with AMD Free-Sync (48-75hz range), native 75hz for both AMD and Nvidia cards, 2x HDMI (Free-Sync) and 1x VGA.  Set the Response Time setting to Level 2 for the best balance between fast pixel response times and minimal overshoot ghosting.

HP 24w

Review by Les Numeriques

Fairly accurate matte 1080p IPS with HDMI and VGA, but it uses LED PWM Dimming or is not Flicker Free so I can't recommend it.

Added the Review and Measurements by Belgium Hardware to my Best Reviewed Flicker Free 144-165hz 1440p Monitors

Matte 2560x1440 144hz VA panel with fairly preset color accuracy, but slight black crush caused by high-ish (2.35-2.4) gamma in the 10-40% white range.
